Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Mark’s,
As the season of spring continues to unfold, we look forward to celebrating the Fifth Sunday of Easter this Sunday (May 14). It is also Mother’s Day. For us, we might also call the Sunday, “Pink Carnation Sunday”, as we will give all women who attend worship on Sunday a pink carnation. I’m hoping it will be an annual tradition for us, and children will assist in the distribution of carnations during the 10:30 Service. How fun! Please, come and worship. Give thanks for mothers and those mother figures in our lives as we come together to continue our Season of Easter and also celebrate Mother’s Day at St. Mark’s. I’m told that a lovely sheet cake will help us in our celebration at the 10:30 Social Hour!
